Rhonda Baker is a five-time recipient of scholarships from the NS Talent Trust, a graduate from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, and Artistic Director of Maritime Dance Performance Group. In her time at the school of TDT, she had the pleasure of working with some of Canada’s most celebrated artists including Peggy Baker, Sasha Ivanochko, James Kudelka, and Sharon Moore.

Rhonda has danced repertoire by Daniele Desnoyers, Andrea Miller and Sylvain Emard through the Springboard Danse Montreal Project and in Nov ‘09 she was invited by Miller to perform with Gallim Dance for the Sportmax series, Re:MIXX, in New York City.

Rhonda has performed with Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie at the Canada Dance Festival (2010), and in an evening of works featuring James Kudelka’s “See Series” for AllOneWord (2011). Most recently, Rhonda had the pleasure of performing in her hometown of Halifax, NS with Mocean Dance for the world premiere of Canvas 5 x 5 by Tedd Robinson.

Along with being involved with various independent dance projects in Halifax and Toronto, Rhonda is a dancer with Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie.
