The studio shows which are open to the public will take place on Sunday, December 2nd at 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm, at the Bedford location of Maritime Dance Academy in Sunnyside Mall.
These special studio shows of Performance Group’s rendition of this classic story come midway through their 2007 elementary school tour. They are pleased to be touring the production at five elementary schools in HRM this week including, Bel Ayr Elementary, Col. John Stuart and Michael Wallace schools in Dartmouth, LC Skerry in Waverley, and Sackville Centennial in Lower Sackville.
The story of the mischievous little boy, who spends his never-ending childhood adventuring in Never Neverland as the leader of The Lost Boys, is well-known and loved by children and adults alike. The story features fantastical elements, and all your favourite characters including Captain Hook, Tinkerbell, Smee, and the Lost Boys.
The Maritime Dance Performance Group does a production suitable for elementary aged children every year, continuing their commitment to bring the performing arts into the schools in our communities. Since 2000, Performance Group has performed their children’s shows of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, The Music Man, Mary Poppins, and Peter & The Wolf more than 45 times at elementary schools.

The public studio shows take place Sunday, December 2nd, at 12:30 & 2:00 pm in Studio 1 of Maritime Dance Academy, Sunnyside Mall, Bedford, and feature original choreography by company members Jacqueline MacIntyre and Kathleen Vessey. Admission is only $5 so take a break from the holiday rush, and enjoy the show with your children.
